Today marks Mackenna's 6 month "birthday"!!! WOW, where is the time going????
To ring it in, we took her for her well check and things are looking awesome. She is now 16 lbs 12 oz and 27 inches long! She is developing and growing right on par for her growth chart and we couldn't be happier at the healthy little girl we have been blessed with. She graduated to Level 2 for food, so tonight we went to Target and bought some mighty yummy kinds and gave her her first taste of "pear, strawberry granola"...nummy nummy!
She is sitting up, well, more like supporting herself like a tripod, LOL and making all kinds of new sounds! She started taking 2 hour naps at least once a day now, so I know Daddy is loving that and her most favorite thing to do right now is grab for anything she sees, especially mama's hair! Time to start baby proofing!!!!
She gives mama quite the kisses these days and usually has only been giving to me, but gave some to Grandma just recently :) she is quite the lover girl! She loves to play with her Daddy and they have so many of their own little songs they sing; she is so lucky to have a Daddy like him. She loves to be read to and we've been enjoying discovering new books with her!
With Christmas right around the corner, we decided to do Christmas themed 6 months photos!!! These are just a few of our favorites! We are so excited to have our first Christmas with our little girl and wish you all a joyful holiday season!!!!
