Egg Decorating

Mackenna was ready to do some serious egg decorating :)

She let me and Daddy do the food coloring - she must have known that I didn't want it to get everywhere ;)

Did you expect to see anything else besides princesses for her decor?

She had a lot of fun putting all the stickers on :)

I look kinda serious here, but I think I must have just been really concentrating trying ot help her :)

Such a big girl!

When we were done, we had to display them, so she helped us put them in this clear vase and very quickly learned the word, GENTLE!!!! :)

So proud of her eggs!!!!!!  And we were so proud of her :)

Visit with the Bunny

I think I say this a lot, but this might be my FAVORITE picture to date of my lil lady :) it was the most priceless moment we've had captured on camera in awhile!

We started our lil Easter morning riding some rides before getting into line for the bunny pictures

My baby isn't such a baby anymore - all dressed in her Easter best!

As I always say...my 2 favorite people!

Standing on her cute lil tip toes to try and catch a glimpse of the bunny!

My sweet girl :)

This child has no fear!!! And our pictures we got of her whole experience were awesome!

A little Peeps hat and treat after she was done :)

Posing already :)

We had a fantastic morning at the MOA - another memory to chalk up for our little lady!

Witch Hunting

The other night when Nate and I were having dinner, Mackenna was scootin along her lil Disney Princess rocking horse, wearing her pink fireman's hat telling us that she was looking for her witch. CRAZY imagination!!!!

Side note - she plays with this horse more NOW than she did when Aunt Erica got it for her for her first Christmas. She found it while we started packing for our big move and now plays with it every day :)

The House is Coming Along!

The house is really coming along and we are SO EXCITED to move - 28 days and counting!!  We went to go see it last night and it's really taking shape. Kenna is so excited and each time we go in there she likes to show us her room and take us around the house :)

Quick lil pose in our new kitchen!

Princess Galore!

A couple fun pics of my lil princess! I can't wait to set up her little dress-up area in her new playroom - it will be a princess heaven!!

Own Little World

One of my most favorite pics to date!!!!
They were just in their own world at the airport after we picked Daddy up from his trip :) They had a lot of people in the airport ooo-ing and ahh-ing as well. SO SWEET!

6 Week Tummy Check

Yesterday we had Kenna's 6-week tummy check to see how things are moving and grooving in there after our daily Miralax "test" and I am happy to report that things are really starting to take shape in her little belly.

We didn't need to do any x-rays which I think Kenna and I were BOTH happy about. Dr. Jones said her tummy was much softer as he was doing his check. He did say potty-training will be a tad more difficult with her "issues" so while I've become a tad impatient with her still in diapers, he made me feel better about where we're at with her. It will come in time and she'll be there soon he assured me...I just know he's right, he's gotta be!!! :)

Mackenna dislikes going to the doctor so much because she's been poked and proded each time she goes. Yesterday was no different and she started to cry when I told her we were going, so I told her she could bring her own doctor kit and that seemed to be the magic trick!

Waiting for Dr. Jones :)

Just enjoying a lil treat while in the room! Such a big girl :)

Trip to the MOA

Last week, I took Mackenna to the MOA for some fun while Daddy was enjoying his own fun in sunny AZ! We went for dinner, did a couple rides and then ended our date at the Disney Store where we both ended up having more fun than anywhere else that evening :)

Mac n Cheese @ Noodles...NUMMY!

She devoured it!!

Honestly, in her almost 3 years, I don't think she's ever finished anything like this!!!  SO PROUD OF HER :)

After dinner, it was time for a couple of rides! This was the first time she went on the puppies all by herself and she was very proud!

Then it was onto the Trucks - she LOVES this ride!

After rides, it was time to become a princess at the Disney Store...mommy found LOTS of ideas for her 3rd birthday too. She absolutely LOVES this store and is in awe each time she walks in. It truly is priceless!

On our way out, she saw a bunch of crayons and paper and went to go color. Turns out, the Disney Store has sanctioned activities from time to time and they were about to have an activity to learn how to draw Gus from Cinderella (oh how fitting for her obsession!). Since it was 7:30pm on a weeknight, she was the ONLY one there for the activity, so she got some great 1-on-1 attention.

Up on a large screen, they went through step-by-step learning how to draw Gus Gus

She actually did a fantastic job as we were watching her copy each screen she saw. Crazy enough, she drew Gus in the opposite direction than what the screen showed...but it worked and turned ou fantastic!

She got to color Gus when she was all done and then they framed it for her in her own special frame!

SO PROUD of my little artist!!!!

We had a fantastic night together - one to remember for sure!

10 Inches of Snow on March 5th!!!! WHAT?!?!

Daddy and I got to work from home on Tuesday due to the HUGE March snow storm we got overnight that dumped 10 inches of snow on us! While we were both on our laptops, Kenna insisted she worked on hers as well. Couldn't help but snap this pic and fall even more in love with her :) Such a sweetheart!

Performer in the Works!

This may only be funny to a few of you - but when I was little, my sister and cousins used to make me get on the stool at our grandparents house and perform for them (apparently I was that cool!!!!). Kenna hopped on top of her potty the other day and was singing the ABC's, so of course I was laughing and remembering all my time on the stool :) She is a little performer in the works!

Just like Mommy & Daddy...

This morning after Kenna was all dressed (as Tinkerbell as she called herself!) she told me and her Daddy that she had to put her contacts on just like us :)

Of course we didn't have contacts in the case, but she didn't know the difference :)

Such a big girl...

Like a PRO!

Mini Mommy!

Last night, while Daddy was at baseball practice Mackenna and I were able to get some girlie girl play time in! I was in happy mommyland watching her play with her dolls and taking care of them the way that she must be seeing me take care of her all these years :) Very sweet....but I also think she may be trying to tell us something????

She had Baby Eyes and another baby in her stroller and took them for a walk around the house

Then it was time to rock her baby to sleep and make sure that her pacifier was in and good to go for bed time.

Once her other baby was cared for, it was onto Baby Eyes diaper...we had many steps to complete (notice we have our princess dress on for this too!) First was the wipes...

Then it was time for the diaper rash cream :)

And the last step, the funniest of them all, was the nose cream. Mackenna has special cream for her nose that we use when she gets bloody noses and she insisted that Baby Eyes needed it too :)

It was such a fun night for the girls and I was very proud to see my lil lady taking on ALL that responsibility!
