Always something new...

Miss Mackenna is continuing to change before our eyes every day!!!!  She has even more words in her vocabulary now including HOT and YUP.  When we were at the store this past weekend, she kept saying 'yup' or how she says it 'bip' to the sales guy and we just couldn't figure it out, but after realizing we were saying yup to his questions, it quickly became evident she picked right up!

When I came home from Tampa last week she and Daddy had mastered HOT and she's so smart that she knows when to use it - I got her in the car the other day and the metal plate touched her leg and she said, 'HOT!" - super cute the way she says it too :)

She started to formulate sentences when she talks and asks questions - it's been a real fun age for us to watch!!!!

She isn't the BEST smiler, but we figured out that if we ask her to "show her teeth" she smiles the BIGGEST smile we've seen and it's beautiful!!!!!  What a doll :)

Mother's Day 2012

What a whirlwind of a Mother's Day!  It was a gorgeous day filled with love and LOTS of celebration!  We started our day with breakfast at home with Grandma S and Uncle Matt.  Nate made cinnamon pancakes, hash browns, bacon and fruit and Grandma brough over some delcious banana bread!  It was quite the display! 

Then we headed to Mystic Lake Buffet to enjoy MORE food with Grandma and Grandpa Harrison, Aunt Erica and Eric, Uncle Rob and everyone else!!!!  Once we were done eating, we headed to Grandma's house for gifts and cupcakes! 

We finally ended our night at Kona Grill with Grandpa Mack to celebrate more - Mother's Day and both of our birthdays! 

It was a day full of FOOD, LAUGHS and FUN!  And this is the perfect way to show you how we all felt by the time we got home...completely and utterly DONE :)
