Its been awhile since my last post so I thought I would do some quick updating!
We have a full on walker in our house!!! She has her routine walking paths and all! She is getting so comfortable that she doesn't necessarily look like my 'drunk off milk' little girl anymore! We love this new adventure but can't believe we already have a toddler!
She still continues to campaign everywhere we go with saying HI to everyone!! It is definitely her favorite word and she loves the reaction she gets from everyone she says it to! She has also mastered "more" and "no", but not the actual word "no" just the head shake to imply no. With daycare she seems to be way more talkative as the days roll on...I already know what that means...PAY BACK, uh oh! I never knew when to stop talking so she's going to get me now!
Two of her top molars are completely through and she is working on one bottom one right now...that's 11 total!!!! The top 2 were just there one day, as we had no clue she was even working on any to begin with...she continues to be our little warrior with all this teeth stuff!
Aside from that, all is well with the Schlieman clan! Nate is getting back into coaching this fall and I'm going to judge with the MSHSL for dance...both of us continuing to do what we love in some way or another, can't complain about that!!! We are looking forward to fall and cooler temps...OK maybe that's just me :) but can't believe summer is already winding down! Looks like the state fair will be calling us back soon...

BONK!
With Kenna walking all over the place, we have gotten used to the fact that a bruise here and there is a must have accessory for her :) Some of them have been worse than others, but for the most part, she gets right back up and walks it off - literally!
Here is one right on her forehead - had a meeting with the corner of our couch!

Our 2nd trip to Como Zoo
With the lovely government shutdown, our trip to the MN Zoo was cancelled, so we thought we'd make the most of it and head back to the Como Zoo on what was an absolutely gorgeous day!

Kenna and Daddy LOVED to look at the monkeys!

Before we ventured home for nap time, we took her on the GIANT carousel!!! We found out it was made in 1914 - how cool! She actually got to ride with Daddy this time and she was even holding on this time - such a big girl! It was such a fun sunny day!

I LOVE TO SWIM!
So far this 4th of July weekend has been a blast! I had Friday off to make it a 4 day weekend and with Nate off on Monday, it is just nice to have some solid quality family time together!!!!
On Friday I took Mackenna over to Grandma and Grandpa Harrison's house for a day full of swimming! She had so much fun with her new floatie that Grandpa Mack got her for her 1st birthday!

Kenna also got to see and try out her new pool for the house! It's a GIANT blowfish and so far, we think she likes it! We just have to make sure we fill it up WELL in advance before she gets in as hose water is FREEZING! It even has a sprinkler...
